Today, I decided to head out to Miners Marsh in Kentville, a spot that’s well-known for its rich wetland bird life and serene surroundings. With my camera in hand and a goal in mind, I set out to capture birds behaving in ways beyond the usual — not just floating on the water, but engaging in activities that truly bring their personalities and natural behaviors to life.

As the day went on, I found myself feeling more connected to the marsh and its inhabitants. It’s amazing how much you can observe when you take the time to really look. The experience reminded me that nature has so much to offer if we’re willing to slow down and appreciate it.

Miners Marsh never disappoints, and today was no exception. It’s a place that reminds me why I love photography and the magic of capturing moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. I can’t wait to go back and see what stories the marsh has to tell next time.
